Old Sandwich Golf Cottages

• Stateside was hired to construct three guest cottages at the Old Sandwich Golf Club complex designed by Shope Reno Wharton of Greenwich, Connecticut.  These 2,500 square foot, 4 bedroom homes were built for the use of members to stay on site during golf outings.  The structures are built in shingle style of architecture and are highlighted by the cathedral ceilings in all four bedroom suites and the main living room.  The focal point for these buildings is the large stone chimney with both an interior and exterior fireplace.  The latter opens to a roofed exterior porch.  These structures were built at the same time as the Training Center, Carriage Barn, Caretaker's Cottage and several other smaller buildings on this site.
